Families First Coronavirus Response Act Effective April 1, 2020 and FFCRA Posters Available
This week, the Department of Labor published the required poster for employers’ use under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). In addition, the DOL issued FAQs concerning the poster and a Field Guidance that addresses a short grace period on enforcement as long as an employer can show “good faith” for compliance. As a reminder, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act will begin to apply to leaves on April 1, 2020. Regulations are still expected, which may provide further clarity to the provisions of the FFCRA.
