Overview
Emily is an associate in the Casualty Department, where she focuses her practice on general liability, motor vehicle liability, premises liability, and municipal liability. Given her background as a criminal prosecutor, she also handles civil rights and municipality cases involving prisons, police departments, police officers, and municipalities.
The majority of her career was spent in the courtroom. She brings to the firm several years of trial experience from her time as a criminal prosecutor in the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, where she was the lead prosecutor of homicide by vehicle cases and tried dozens of complex cases involving violent crimes. Before moving to Erie, Emily worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Mark D. Stevens of the Crawford County Court of Common Pleas, upon graduation from Duquesne University School of Law in 2016. She double majored in Political Science and Rhetorical Studies and received her bachelor's degree from Duquesne University in 2013.
Emily is currently admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
