Overview
Hunter is an associate in the Casualty Department where he primarily handles product liability, construction defect, and personal injury claims. He assists in the representation of several major tool manufacturers in their product liability litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Hunter worked as an associate with a boutique coverage firm based in Philadelphia. He has also worked at a mid-sized civil litigation firm where he handled construction defect and complex personal injury matters.
Hunter is a graduate of Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law where he was a leading member of the school's nationally ranked #3 Trial Team. As a member, Hunter was a National Champion at the National Board of Trial Advocacy's "Tournament of Champions". Additionally, he was a Regional Champion and National Quarter-Finalist at the American Association of Justice's Student Trial Advocacy Competition. He was also a finalist at the University of Denver's "Summit Cup" National Championship. For his exemplary record with the Trial Team, Hunter was awarded the Kline School of Law Award for Outstanding Advocacy. He was also awarded the CALI Award/Best Student Performance award in Land Use Law and Advanced Trial Advocacy: Civil, for scoring the highest grade in both courses. Prior to Drexel, he graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Political Science.
Hunter has served as a volunteer firefighter in Lower Merion Township with the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore since 2009. He was elected to the Board of Directors of the company in 2019 where he helps to manage the administrative aspects of the company and serves as the Chairman of the Bylaw Committee.
