Overview
Rebecca is an associate in the Casualty Department where she represents defendants in third-party insurance defense matters concerning negligence, automobile liability, premises liability, and personal injury. She also devotes a portion of her practice to maritime litigation.
Rebecca received her juris doctor from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Rebecca was a member of the nation’s top ranked advocacy program as a member of the Moot Court Board. During her two years on the team, Rebecca competed on the Appellate Lawyers Association Team and the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. She received distinctions for being a top oralist in domestic and international competitions and was recognized for her excellence in written and oral advocacy. Her exceptional skills in oral advocacy earned her the invitation for induction into The Order of the Barristers in 2023.
During law school, Rebecca worked as a Law Clerk for the Law office of Marcie L. Baker. In this role Rebecca handled the firm’s media presence and authored a blog covering the firm’s practice areas of Family Law, Workers’ Compensation, and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. In the summer of 2022, Rebecca worked as a summer associate for Marshall Dennehey. She worked under the mentorship of Michael Bradford, handling admiralty, premises liability, and personal injury cases.
Prior to law school, Rebecca attended Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She was also a member of SXU’s cross-country team and is still an avid runner to this day.
Rebecca is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and the United States District Court Middle and Southern District of Florida.
