Overview
Stephen represents physicians, physician's assistants, hospitals, long-term care facilities, dentists and other health care providers in general and professional liability matters. Through his practice, he has gained valuable experience in analyzing complex medical records and developing defenses and strategies that best meet his clients' needs.
Stephen was born and raised in Philadelphia, attending Roman Catholic High School and the University of Pennsylvania. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Political Science, Stephen worked for the Philadelphia District Attorney's office as a paralegal, which helped spur his decision to attend law school. During his time at Thomas R. Kline School of Law, Stephen was a lead editor of the Drexel Law Review. As a Marshall Brennan Fellow, he taught a Constitutional Law class to tenth graders at a Philadelphia high school for a semester. Stephen also interned for the Honorable Timothy R. Rice, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In addition, he interned at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, working in the Compliance Department to develop a system-wide Conflict of Interest Policy for medical researchers and employees. Stephen is also actively involved in mentoring aspiring young attorneys, serving as a judge for multiple mock trial tournaments.
