Marshall Dennehey has been named a finalist in four categories as part of The Legal Intelligencer and Law.com 2025 Pennsylvania Legal Awards. The categories include:

Marshall Dennehey, P.C. has renewed its lease at 2000 Market Street in Philadelphia where the Am Law 200 firm has been headquartered since 2012. As the building’s largest tenant, its 10-year, 120,462-square-foot lease renewal signifies the firm’s ongoing commitment to Center City, Philadelphia and the surrounding region, as well as a strategic initiative to scale the firm’s global occupancy footprint to meet current marketplace demand.  

Marshall Dennehey announced today that, per his election at the firm’s annual Shareholder Meeting on Dec. 10, Matthew S. Schorr, Director of the Casualty Department and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, will replace retiring firm leader Howard P. Dwoskin on the firm’s three-person Executive Committee effective Jan. 1, 2025. Schorr joins longtime Marshall Dennehey President & CEO, G.

Marshall Dennehey is pleased to announce that 10 attorneys have been elected shareholders of the firm effective Jan. 1, 2025. Additionally, two attorneys have been promoted from associate to special counsel. These new shareholders and special counsel represent the firm's four core departments – Casualty, Professional Liability, Health Care and Workers' Compensation – and come from eight of the firm's 19 offices. 

Marshall Dennehey has been named a "2025 Best Law Firm" in multiple practice areas, both nationally and across numerous regions of the country, by Best Lawyers®. Nationally, the firm ranked in the practice areas of Mass Tort Litigation/Class Action – Defendants, Commercial Litigation; Insurance Law; and Litigation- Construction.   

Marshall Dennehey is proud to be a signator to Project LITIGATE – Lawyers Initiative To Improve next Gen Attorneys’ Trial Experience – an initiative from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that has been ratified by the Pennsylvania Conference of Civil Trial Judges.
