Employment Law Attorney John P. Mueller Joins Marshall Dennehey as a Shareholder in Mount Laurel
Employment law attorney John P. Mueller has joined Marshall Dennehey’s Mount Laurel office as a Shareholder in the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group. He most recently was a name partner in a regional law firm focused on employment and commercial litigation matters.
Mueller has 20 years of experience, in both private practice and as in house counsel, representing and advising corporations in a wide variety of employment law matters. He routinely defends employers against discrimination and harassment claims, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, whistleblower claims, workplace privacy, employment agreements and more. He also provides guidance regarding trade secret and restrictive covenant issues, and litigates related claims in federal and state courts.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Mueller obtained his law degree at Rutgers University School of Law, Camden. Following his graduation from UPenn, Mueller served in the United States Marine Corps, during which time he was deployed to Japan and the Middle East. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain after five years of service.
Among his numerous professional memberships, Mueller is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Civil Pro Bono Panel for the District of New Jersey. He is additionally a member of the National Marine Corps Business Network and the UPenn Secondary School Committee. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
