Josh J.T. Byrne is Appointed Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Professional Responsibility Committee
Josh J.T. Byrne, shareholder and chair of the Disciplinary Board Representation Practice Group at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been appointed co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Professional Responsibility Committee.
Mr. Byrne focuses his practice on the representation of attorneys in legal malpractice, wrongful use of civil proceedings, and disciplinary board matters. He also represents many other types of professionals in the federal and state courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and before disciplinary boards. He has drafted or co-authored several amicus curiae briefs on behalf of the Pennsylvania Bar Association in his capacity as chair of its Professional Liability Committee and co-chair of the Amicus Curiae Brief Committee.
He additionally serves on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Ethics Committee and is a Zone One delegate to the PBA’s House of Delegates. He is also a Judge Pro Temp for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
A graduate of Earlham College and Rutgers University School of Law, Mr. Byrne is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for professional competence.
